Life Story for Louise Wallace

Louise  Wallace
“To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven;
A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which has been planted.” Ecclesiastes 3:1-2

Mrs. Louise Flanagan Wallace was born on July 12, 1920 in Jefferson County, Alabama to the late Grant and Maggie (Lloyd) Flanagan. She was the youngest of thirteen children.

Mrs. Wallace was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Mr. Albert Wallace, Sr. and from this union they were blessed with six children.

Mrs. Wallace was a faithful member of the Mount Sinai Missionary Baptist Church and served in many capacities within the church. She loved life and worked in her community in addition to working n her church for many years. Mrs. Wallace also delivered Meals on Wheels for a number of years for the YWCA downtown. An avid story teller, she enjoyed sharing stories with her family and friends, dancing and composing poetry, some of which has been published.

Mrs. Wallace was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, husband, Albert Wallace, Sr. and son, Albert Wallace, Jr. She leaves to cherish her precious memories two daughters, Ami W. Burton (Robert) and Lillian W. Jones (Carl); one adopted daughter, Lillian Johnson; three sons, James Thomas Wallace, Ronnie Wallace and Rafael D. Wallace; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other beloved relatives and friends.
